11 Bit Studios sắp tung ra trên iOS phần tiếp theo của Anomaly Warzone Earth - một trong những game hay nhất năm 2011 - với tên gọi Anomaly Korea.

Đúng như tên gọi, Anomaly Korea sẽ lấy bối cảnh tại Hàn Quốc thay vì thủ đô Tokyo của Nhật Bản như trong phần trước. Nội dung của game vẫn là cuộc chiến đấu chống lại thế lực xâm lược ngoài hành tinh, song Anomaly Korea sẽ có những màn chơi mới hoàn toàn, cùng các đơn vị quân và power mới. Về gameplay, Anomaly Korea vẫn giữ vững truyền thống của seri, đó là phong cách phòng thủ ngược: người chơi là bên tấn công, máy là bên phòng thủ.

Trailer chính thức của Anomaly Korea chưa được công bố. Thời điểm ra mắt của game cũng chưa được ấn định. Được biết game sẽ có mặt trên cả iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch và iPad) lẫn Android, còn việc có ra mắt trên Windows và Mac OS như phần trước hay không thì chưa được tiết lộ.

11 Bit Studios đã đem Anomaly Korea (cùng 2 tựa game khác của hãng sắp ra mắt trên iOS là Sleepwalker's Journey và Funky Smugglers) đến hội chợ Gamescom 2012 (đang diễn ra tại thành phố Cologne, Đức từ ngày 15-->19/8). Dưới đây là đoạn teaser trailer hé lộ những hình ảnh mới nhất về game:

Teaser trailer nói trên đã cho thấy Anomaly Korea sẽ ra mắt trong mùa thu 2012 này.

Thời điểm ra mắt cụ thể của Anomaly Korea vẫn chưa được ấn định, vẫn chỉ biết là trong mùa thu 2012 này. Giá bán dự kiến là giống với giá bán ban đầu của Anomaly Warzone Earth, tức là $3.99.

Anomaly Korea đã chính thức ra mắt ngày hôm nay, sớm nhất tại iTunes Store New Zealand, và sớm hơn một chút so với thông tin trước đó là game sẽ ra mắt vào đúng dịp lễ Giáng Sinh (24/12/2012).

Giới thiệu qua về 2 game còn lại của 11 Bit Studios (theo Touchgen):

1. Sleepwalker's Journey:

Generally, when I sleepwalk, I end up locking myself out of my house in just my underpants. In Sleepwalker’s Journey though, it looks like this poor kid goes somewhat further-a-field. Meet drowsy Moonboy. Blown out of bed by a big lunar sneeze, he sleepwalks through dreams. You must guide Moonboy safely through various traps, clear obstructions from his path, and shift his surroundings to create a safe passage to his bed. Solve environment puzzles in a fantasy world, find multiple pathways through the game, and collect stars and crescents to experience what 11 bit promise is a beautiful fairytale atmosphere. This kinda reminds me a bit of Braid, especially in its art-style.

2. Funky Smugglers:

In Funky Smugglers, you play the role of airport security staff as you use the X-Ray scanner to check passengers clothes and luggage for contraband. Enjoy a funky 70s-style soundtrack while keeping the airport safe from hammers, scissors, and other illegal goods. Use multi-touch or a one-finger slide to pick up multiple items and chain together combos. Boost your X-ray power and earn in-game cash to spend on customisation, new contraband, new smugglers and upgrades.
